How do i do this?
I have a home network, and i have a fancy scanner/printer/copier thing. how do i put the printer on the network so i can print from any computer or system in the house? because its hooked up to 1 computer, but i want to make it so that i cant print from any computer on my network.
the computer that has the printer is running 2000 pro, and my laptop on the network that im trying to connect is running xp pro. would that effect it at all?
Be aware that not all all-in-one machines will share properly over a network… and especially not via a plug-in print server
If you just want it to print from other machines on the network, that’s fine… But other functions like scanning may only be available on a computer to which it is directly connected.
