Printer for Professional Photography?
Well Im going to start actually printing photos instead of just keeping them in my computer. So i was wondering what would be a good printer for that? I want the photos to look and feel professional unlike the ones you print at the store. I’ve read about many different one but they all seem to be very good. Does anyone know what I can buy?

These are actual photo prints exposed on photo paper.
Inkjet is nowhere near photo quality in terms of detail or longevity but if you must, you’ll want to go with a pigment based injet printer instead of a dye based printer. I swear by Canon and use a Pixma Pro 9500.
And don’t skimp on the paper. I use genuine Canon stuff for my everyday stuff and Hahnemuhle on acid free mounts and archival bags for art prints.
