Is it OK to use this ink for this printer (HP)?
My bf got me a printer and 4 spare ink cartridges. Here’s the thing – the printer is an HP Deskjet D4360 which I believe uses the 74 ink cartridge. But the ink cartridges he got me are all 75’s. He doesn’t have the receipt or anything, so there’s no way to get the money back. And they’re all color, which gets to be really expensive. Is it OK to use these ink cartridges with my printer? What’s the worst that can happen? I’m just hoping it’s not a waste of money…
If it were me, I would do some fancy talking, socializing with one of the store employees, say you dont want money back, you just need the right cartridge, just a swap, an show them they are unopened and unused.
If that didnt work…
Usually, manufacturers will make it where the wrong cartridge wont fit physically
If it were me, I would simply compare the sizes with the correct one. If they look identical, it might be possible.
However, I would be real cautious cause if you break the printer, then your situation got worse
